The Alé 'W4H' chamois seat is constructed from elastic micro-fiber, specifically shaped for women, with padding strategically positioned in the contact points to avoid stress on nerve endings. For the best comfort and support padding density is calibrated for unbeatable comfort; high density 90 kg/cm2 padding is used where it's most needed. The lateral shaped wings are flexible and follow the movements of the pedalling female form, adapting to the anatomy for optimum comfort. This pad gives the very best combination of comfort, wicking, breathability and is also incredibly fast drying to ensure the utmost protection against shocks and stresses of the road.
Compression and support
Carefully and strategically positioned fabrics optimised for each anatomical zone (based on a body mapping principle) have been brought together in creating this stunning short. The short is comprised of differing compression zones offering the best muscle support tailored so that those areas that benefit from the most compression are targeted while other zones offer maximum range of movement.
Woven fabric utilised at the crotch allows for maximum breathability and minimum weight alongside all important abrasion resistance for enhanced longevity. Ale's carefully designed Free System bib offers the best balance of support and fit without a feeling of constriction.
Finally a 60mm elastic deep leg band with silicon woven in the structure keeps the shorts in place and distributes pressure on the leg firmly and evenly.
SHARK fabric
Woven fabric used in the crotch area of the PRR 2.0 shorts and bibs. Its unique texture makes it super-breathable thanks to its low weight. At the same time it provides a compression effect, reducing the onset of muscle fatigue by supporting riding effort.
